The Brief
We have worked with other Wyldecrest companies in the past however this is the first time we worked with Wyldecrest Holiday Parks. They needed a general refresh and tidy-up of their current site.
Wyldecrest wanted to maintain their branding as its very well known however, implement some new colours depending on the holiday park.
They need a few additional features that we had the ability to implement. For example, a dynamic PDF download linked to the property the user was viewing.
They also wanted to ability to have a separate section for properties that could be rented, instead of bought.
Our Approach
First things first were to create a custom post type for their properties. We managed to keep them fairly simple but still offer all the features and capabilities they needed.
We implemented the ability to add flags to a property. So they could instantly show if the property was discounted for example. This is great to catch the eye of a user looking for a good deal.
The Result
Overall, everyone is extremely happy with the outcome. It has the ease of use and the functionality that Wyldecrest was after.
The feel of the website has been updated and improved while keeping the brand at its core.
